I took my corgi mix to lake tohoe and she had no problems getting wet. She wouldn't go in past her stomach though. She's my first dog are corgi's often water lovers?

I didn't know if corgis would be able to swim or not... I've always been scared to death that poor Boomer would fall into the water at some point and just sink like a rock...
Though, fat does float--he may not have anything to worry about.

wish I could do that but we have gators, and gar, and snappers and fresh water bullsharks up 3 miles, it sucks! but my corgi can just stay in the pool on my floatie....

Great swimmers for Pembrokes. I have a Pem and a Cardigan. My Pem strokes well enough, but she sorta bobbles to one side and can't keep upright. Hilarious sight. Haven't taken the Cardi out to the river yet, he's only 7mos old. But his gigantic paws should be good enough to get him around. Thanks for sharing.
