This is our (first) submission to the 48 Hour Film Project in San Francisco. Our goal was to write, shoot, and edit a film in 48 hours from June 18 to 20. Here are the specs that we needed to have for the film:

Genre (randomly chosen): Romance
Character: Geoffery or Gigi Cook
Prop: Plate
Line: "You are not going to believe what happened."

This is a slightly polished version of the film with replaced music and an additional scene (which we forgot to add for the screening).

Screenplay by Erick Steiner
Dir. Ken Lauguico and Erick Steiner
Prod. Alex Deguzman
1st Asst. Dir. Victor Tolosa

  • fist, excellent deadmau5 song.

i saw a website on ladder theory, your short film portrays it well enough. despite the fact reinventing yourself for the same person is a near impossible task in the real world, the film was convincing. job well done.

  • @CallawayCinema well you are making it look like a rival move by calling it out like that. hi and bye worked just as hard as any other team just like your with your nexus. everybody's ideas were unique and original. just b/c weve all heard a " ladder theory" doesnt mean that its necessarily " plagiarizing" so is it plagiarism that a killer happens to kill both lovers that wanted to kill each other? i can name 10 films. but i guess thats your perspective.

Dont know if its just me but, isn't there like a frame in the end of 7:08 swopping by? Looks like the rests of a removed fade out or something :P
