  • When is the best time to out the skull in the ground? Summer? or will the beatles stil be out to eat the left over meet in the winter?

  • @MrDEER99 I would say at the begging of summer, like the first of June and the middle of August. I doubt the bug will be there in the winter but not sure cause we did it in the summer.

  • Can you tell me ? Did you rinse off the peroxide cream after the desired whiteness? I am at the stage of whitened enough. Now I am wondering if the scull needs the cream rinsed off? thanks

  • Once you have th peroxide on for a wihle, rinse it off. If you want it more white put the peroxide on again and rinse.

  • did the bugs even get the brain?

  • Yep, they ate it all!

  • take a deep fryer tube with water and boil the hair and meat off it is soo much faster

  • dear assholes, shut up this kid knows his shit

  • looks good man. if you want to know a little quicker way, try boiling it using soda ash. you can get it at pool supply stores. put 1/4 cup of soda ash in your pot and mix it up then simmer the skull. take it out about every twenty minutes and it should be done in about an hour and a half. im a taxidermist and use this method. i will warn you though, be carful because the bones turn very brittle before drying out and if left in the water too long can turn chalky. it definitely works if done right

  • @doggbiter hell it does.. but I don't do Euro mounts or shoulder mounts.. I just skull cap them and put the antlers up.. and no I'm not an idiot.. obviously it works because i did it to my 1st buck over 7 years ago and it still has a misty morning dew look to it. Now judging by your last 2 comments you're a hater which would probably make you a kid in his teens so I'll be polite young man. Don't knock anyones techniques till you've tried it.

  • @CowboyTheHellUp Clear-Coat on the antlers FLMAO! What an idiot.........gives them a pretty cool look LOL

  • @doggbiter fuck off

  • great video bud.. just 1 question.. why not put the clear coat on the antlers?.. is it just for more of a realistic look? just wondering. I put clear coats on all my antlers gives them a pretty cool look.. thanks for the video and I'll have to give this a try for my next buck.

  • @347seeker Oh yes and porcupines too. All the antlers I've collected have some chew marks from porcupines, you have to find them before they eat them all up. This is really cool though. The organisms in the soil do such a clean and thorough job. Nature is the ultimate in efficiency.

  • @RobbytheLion i dont think they be a little dameged by the weathering but the real reson u need to protect them is squiriels will eat the antlers there is minerals and stuff they like to eat

  • the song your playing sounds like down by the river by neil young
