The Anutans are a group of 300 Pacific islanders that have managed to live in harmony with their environment for nearly 400 years despite living on an island only 1/6 of a mile long.
Are there lessons that can be learned from these people that show us how we too can live in harmony with our own environment.

  • @JanColdwater I respect your opinion, however I don't believe you watched the entire video. Did you not see the part where the people of the East Islands killed each other off and used up all their resources despite not having technology or government. They didn't even get into the part where everyone on the island were inbred. If you don't like our government, then stop crying, stop using my modern medicine, and leave please.

    Best of luck,

    David Beverly

  • One great example on how a system of cooperation (like a resource based economy) is better than a system of competition (like the current monetary based economy.)

  • A truly spectacular way of life.

  • There's a section of this doc that has kids surfing a shorebreak on what look like oars? Do you know where i could access this short footage?
