@feroz0307 Its meant to show that the fighting in Stalingrad was very close quarters and had no defined front line. Sometimes no mans land was a wall or the next building over.Gains and losses there were defined in meters, not kilometers. Vasily Chuikov instructed his soldiers to get as close to the Germans as possible, to negate the Wehrmachts air and artillery support.

Like how at 2:40 you see people walking back in forth, And you have German soldiers standing up right by that window and walking straight away from the window.
