Zip World Record Jump 5 feet 1 inch.mpg

This is a video of my black and white pomeranian, Zip, competing in a Splash Dog dock diving competition in Pensacola, FL in September, 2009. He set the World Record for Pomeranians at 5 feet 1 inch. This year, he betterd his record , jumping 7 feet 2 inches! Zip's "older brother" Star, is a border collie, and Zip really thinks that he's a border collie, too. He wants to do everything that Star does, including dock diving, flyball, agility, rally obedience and therapy dog work.

Zip did even better last year. In his second tournament, he jumped over 7 feet! If your dog likes to swim and likes to retrieve toys, he should enjoy dock diving.

I love seeing Pomeranians doing sports. My Pom is in training for flyball currently, but it's fun to see Poms doing more than warming laps. :)
