To all those idiots who think its cocky to do this - it is not. The Riders are usually sponsored and and to maximise exposure of the logo sponsor they put 2 hands in air with shirt zip up to show photographers and camera men the advertisement on the front of the shirt.

@scrumpyv Yes, if race rule says it is ok to cross the line "with" the bike, but not necessarily riding on top of it :) otherwise, he would need enough time to get himself up, also reach for the bike and pick it up, jump on the bike and start pedaling until he crosses the line -- all of this before the cyclist behind overtakes him! ( he would be awarded a double-prize for such an amazing feat! )
