Why the are you even bothering to compare these?!?!?! The Samsung series 7 tablet = $1,349.99 meanwhile @ most the surface RT = $699.99

Also, the series 7 had windows 8 but surface had RT... *Face-palm*... another fail on youtube

Maybe if you did the surface pro when it comes out that might make sense but.... No.

LOL, the whole point of these videos was to compare the Surface RT to a device that has similar specs to the Surface Pro, to see how well the RT could or couldn't keep up. Why you're *Face-palming* is beyond me. However if you took the time to watch and listen to the videos you would have known that.

Can iTunes be compatible with Windows 8?

Yes iTunes runs on Windows 8 but not on Windows RT or Surface RT.

I'm pretty sure that the Surface Keyboard is not Bluetooth. The Surface RT can't match the raw power and speed of the Samsung, but Samsung can't match the battery life, or the quietness and weight of the Surface. For the past week I used the Surface RT instead of the Samsung for Work and with the exception of inking, the Surface Tablet was every bit as useful.

Thank you for this review now I know that getting the Samsung series 7 slate will be the right choice for me, I have an ipad mini so 3.5 hours on Samsung is good for me since I will be using it for school. Once again thanks for the review

There's a sound that becomes quite noticeable about mid way through the video. Is that the fan on the Samsung? it was mentioned that the Samsung often gets hot to the touch.

I wonder if this would hinder maximizing performance or increase maintenance costs?
