The Foreigner rule fiasco at the Nou-Camp was that Schmeichel was in the team sheet as number 1 so Ferguson had set the team and squad up like that but then at the last minute UEFA told him that Giggs counted as a foreigner so Ferguson had no time to get a replacement for Giggs and re-shape the team so big Pete had to sit it out. Very poor form indeed and a fucking stupid rule.
