Why do I have black circles under my eyes?

ive had dark circles under my eyes for ages and i dont know why i have them. they make me look really horrible and unattractive. im a healthy 18 y/o male, i eat well with a balanced diet, i get my 8 - 9 hours of sleep a night, all i drink is water, im not over or underweight... arghh it just annoying.. do i have to take medication for them to completely disappear.. i just dont know

I've had em since as long as I can remember, almost everyone in my family has em, I'm 6'0 and 130lbs trying to gain, i eat healthy, but my liver enzymes are loopy, i turn jaundice randomly, doctor said it was normal and his brother had the same thing and not to worry about it, but yea i do smoke, But this guy is more new hero!!! Tried changing my diet to a light mineral concealer... and im a guy!! i hate the friggin things, but TY SO VERY MUCH JOSH FOR THE INFO !!!!!!

I have dark cirlces under my eyes and it's hereditary i believe. My mother and grandmother also have them.

I hate it, people always stare at me and some actually ask if I'm on drugs, which i have never touched :(

Hey Josh, I'm an undergrad taking my first nutrition class with a hope to get the ol R.D. after my name. ARe you a Registered Dietician and is all this stuff you're throwin at us something most R.D.'s would learn? If so, I might have to increase my study habbits (eep)
