in terms of lyrical meaning: Mudvayne
in terms of vocal range: Korn
in terms of heavy metal: Mudvayne
in terms of album sales and legacy: Korn
you honestly just should'nt compare them i personally Adore both of them and would love for Chad Gray to do a song w Korn, and likewise w JD and Mudvayne

all Chad Gray does is scream and sing hes cool but has very little vocal range.. JD can sing, yell, scat, scream, cry, and whisper in the creepiest way possible... but then again Chad writes lyrics more involved in the world and is more focused on other problems.. if you want wide vocal range... go w Korn, but if you want wide lyrical range go w Mudvayne... either way you cant go wrong they both kick ass
