Pinch Harmonic/Squeal lesson (In depth, read description)

This lesson was intended to explain, in depth, WHAT a pinch harmonic is, and HOW to create one. Most lessons I have found on Youtube show you HOW to do them, but they do not explain what they are. Knowing that they are essentially just an artificial natural harmonic will give YOU GUYS (especially beginners) a better understanding and help you to do them, because you will FULLY understand how to.

i cant do the squeels or at least they dont come out like urs is that ibanez tube screamer or w.e helping it have the squeel?

@MegaCumstains The tube screamer isn't doing anything that a tiny bit more gain wouldn't do. Remember that your equipment has nothing to do with a squeal, it's how you're plucking the string. You have to catch the natural harmonic with your thumb. Gain will help to make it more pronounced, that's all. :)

Hey I can somewhat do a pinch harmonic but it just doesn’t really squeal as much as I want, any tips? I don’t know if my set up matters but here it is:

-Jackson dxmg w/ EMG 81/85zw pick ups

-Earnie ball power slinky strings

-Line 6 spider IV amp
