It's not a matter of good or bad, its a matter of coming to peace with ur demons, every time I see it, it teminds me that we ALL were innocent children once, sad what this world does to us

cual es la canción que acompaña esta bella y emotiva escena?

This scene is very symbolic. We all shower everyday to clean ourselves. That's exactly what Derek does; however, once he saw his swastika tattoo in the mirror, he realizes that he could never wash away his brutal past of hatred & racism. He covers his tattoo with his right hand, because deep down inside, he wishes that it was never there as it haunts him.

Doesn't this just make you want to be a kid again? A time where you were innocent, care free, and the world wasn't on your shoulders?

My favourite part I'm a 23 year old male and this always gets me. Just shows how the world corrupts your mind. From running around on a beach without a care in the world to having so much hate and baggage. Makes you realise just how little time you have and that you should always enjoy yourself.
