Interesting choice of words..."divestment."

TimJanezic, the point is that Obama was NOT on a banking committee. He called it "my committee," but he wasn't even on it. He lied.
Obama lies habitually, reflexively, about just about everything. He lies about little things (youtube lDn_QoVfMpk), big things (Iraq & taxes). He lies about others (webcitation dot orgorg/5buUVtecE) and about himself (like when he called himself a "constitutional law professor" though he's never been a professor of any kind).

forgetsalot, you've been taken in by ANOTHER Obama lie. It wasn't his bill, either.
The bill that the Banking Committee passed was the "Comprehensive Iran Sanctions, Accountability and Divestment Act." Obama didn't write it, didn't introduce it, didn't sponsor it, and didn't vote for it.
In fact, Obama's sudden support for sanctions on Iran is a recent flip-flop. He OPPOSED the Kyl-Lieberman Act (which passed with overwhelming bipartisan support, in spite of Obama).

What are you talking about? I have about as much respect for the Neo-Cons as I do Nazi's.
I have no idea where you get the idea that I am a "GOP shill".
It frustrates beyond belief to see how dumb people are...
-
Hillary didn't win more votes, so stop spreading the crap, McCain supporter. Your game is so transparent.
-
Keep beating the drum. It doesn't do anything but galvanize your opposition, pink boy.
-
Yes, this shill for the GOP wants you to throw away your votes so they can steal the election in close states by diddling with the voting machines. It isn't going to be that close, however. It's not going to work this time. This idiot talks about "logic". What a 'tard.
-
He meant to say "my bill". He's not trying to pull one over on anyone, he just mixed up his words because the bill that he wrote went through that committee and was turned into the bill that was passed.

I'd advise those who aren't excited about a candidate, or those who are voting against a candidate/ the "lesser of 2 evils", to vote third party this time around.
It is the logical thing to do even if you don't particularly like any of the 3rd party platforms. If we moan about, but continue to participate in, the 2 party system we are only digging ourselves deeper into it.
I'm voting 3rd party in an attempt to make them more viable in future elections. If others did the same we'd all benefit.

Hillary Clinton won more votes if you count Florida and Michigan where neither campaigned. Also, Obama wasn't even on the ballot in Michigan. This vid is dumb- so he's on a banking committee? This financial crisis is too complex for partisan attacks. There is so much blame to go around, including foreign investors calling in loans all at once. Maybe they want the economy to tank so they can buy us up cheap? Wouldn't be the first time. Grow up.
No, that's not what I'm saying. Barry is the one who emphasizes his "blackness" which, by doing so, he does at the expense of his "whiteness." He's only black when it benefits him--and he's the ONLY one in the "race" playing the race card.
As for his admittance into Columbia, it had nothing to do with race. He's a radical, which, at Columbia, qualifies you for a full-ride, regardless of your academic record. CU has not become the university that its founders envisioned--nor has Harvard.

OBAMA STRATEGY: (1)look presidential in scripted speeches as you read off the prompters in glorious stagecraft (2)keep your message just vague enough to allow wiggling and flipflopping (3)talk big and loud and challenge mccain but avoid face2face time and townhalls where he'd own you (4)dismiss all criticism and hard questions as old politics (5)treat your supporters like concert fans (6)overstep your position as senator (7)claim credit for things you haven't done (8)if necessary, use race card.
