Hunters love to take life away. There's no reason to hunt, since we have grocery stores. Hunters actually get proud when they kill innocent animals. Pride is the Devil's specialty, along with hate. Then there's the fact that they have the advantage of a gun. Hunters that kill for sport are consumed by lust for blood and death.

No, no dogs allowed for hunting deer here in MI. I do know you can use dogs for tracking a wounded deer, but this one was done by just my brother and I. I've never used dogs for this -- tracking just seems like a natural part of the sport.

This is untrue if this was an old buck. The buck may just not have the genetics.

Thanks. Just did another weekend in northern MI. Me and my 5 buddies went 4 for 6, losing two to lack of a blood trail. Great weekend. Do what you go to do to get out there this year. As Fred Bear says, "It will clense the soul."

Thanks, it was a great hunt! I was shooting a Parker Ultralite 31 at about 65lbs with 30" CarbonExtreme arrows with Vortex 100gr. mechanicals. Its a combination I just started using and so far love the setup. I watched the Vortex broadheads prove themselves over and over this year between my friends and I.
