No coffeehouse or cappuccino maker in sight? Whip up a tasty instant version with a little ingenuity and some common ingredients.

To complete this How-To you will need:

2 oz. boiling water
2 tbsp. instant coffee
2 tbsp. sugar or sugar substitute
5 ice cubes
A blender
1/3 c. heavy cream
Cinnamon or cocoa powder
Regular, low-fat, or non-fat milk
Whipped cream

Step 1: Boil some water

Boil two ounces of water.

Step 2: Mix coffee, water, and sugar

Dissolve two tablespoons of instant coffee and two tablespoons of sugar or sugar substitute into two ounces of boiling water.

Step 3: Pour into blender

Let the coffee mixture cool, then pour it into a blender with five ice cubes. Blend until slushy.

Step 4: Add cream

Add heavy cream and blend until frothy.

Tip: For a less caloric cappuccino, substitute regular, low-fat, or non-fat milk for the cream.

Step 5: Sprinkle with cinnamon

Sprinkle with cinnamon or cocoa powder and serve. Or add a dollop of whipped heavy cream for a decadent touch.

  • Cut what you make into two drinks and in each drink add milk into each half.

  • @ilovenailpolishes 1 serving :) well it makes 1 decently filled cup but im sure you could split it into two if you really wanted.

  • this recipe taste like shit, so if you want something similar to a tims ice cap, instead of 2 tbsp of instant coffee, just use 1 tbsp, unless you like it REALLY strong. and its best to use 18% coffee cream in this because it will turn out more similiar to tims. and for the sugar you can add a bit extra if you still find it too strong thats what i do :)

  • Does anybody know how many servings this makes? thanks :)

  • @SuperPancake20 DAMn IT better off with timmys then!

  • @sweetgirlygirl93 i dont think so? LOL

  • DOES THIS MAKE YOU HYPER ????
