@MegaDeathwarrant The gps is free on all phones(in the sense that it doesn't use up your data plan), it just uses up battery. Your data plan only gets used up if an app is using internet. Example Google Maps uses the GPS however it is accessing the internet which causes the use of your data plan, not the GPS.
