Minor Swing is a classic tune by the Quintette du Hot Club de France.

This is an attempt to use fingernail picking on a classical guitar to play Django's guitar solos as well as Grappelli's violin solos (these had to be modified for a guitar).

For the rhythm section I used a (slightly edited) free play-along track by Stephane Wrembel, see http://www.stephanewrembel.com/rhythmtracks.html

  • bravissimo, awesome work.

do you have the tabs or notation for grappelli's solo?

  • Google 'jazz et chansons jazz'. That French site has some good stuff. Needs some correction though.
