Love it!! Very nice truck!

@silverdiaz7 Obviously the vehicle will be much louder, and since you essentially have no back pressure it will feel like a huge power gain(which it technically is).

whats the difference between open headers and not open headers? just sound performance or what does it basically come down to? thanks
-
wow, no comments in awhile but... How's the 3.73s with the 33s? I'm thinking about 4.56s for 35s although no cam yet. I assume with the cam/heads/carb it pulls well even with the stock(?) gearing. I guess if I ever convert the SD to MAF we'll see what kinda power I can get from a cam and heads.

That does not look like a mud truck and it definately was not open headers since there were no headers.

Sweet! I'd kill to get my '05 5.4L to run and sound that awesome:) Nice truck!

i converted the truck from fuel injection to a carb. because i hate all the wires and problems associated with fuel injection. it wasn't that hard to do just swap the manifold throw on a carb use a bypass fuel pressure regulator and plumb a return line (the stock one isn't big enough) back to the tank (has to be 3/8 or -6an) and you put the fuel pump on a toggle switch (the wire is on the inertia switch on the firewall under the brake pedal) i used alot of -6an line

oh and you have to get a new distributor but don't get an hei one because they are so big they are just a huge pain in the ass. it is a good feeling to see all the emission and fuel injection crap sitting in a huge pile next to your truck. it runs a hell of a lot better now that i can adjust the air/fuel ratio with a screwdriver and adjust the timing + timing curve manually
