Jomreang et preang thok is from the movie "Jomreang et preang thok" staring Chea Yuthon & Vichara Dany. The movie was written and directed by Sinn Sisamouth and also featured Rous Sareysothea as a part of the movie. The movie also includes the songs Klaep Klen Chanthou, and Jotmai Machoreach, all songs were written by Sinn Sisamouth himself. Unforunately this film no longer exists.

Damned, this song makes me almost cry.

First, i have a sister name's Chann-Thou. Then, my parents used to listen all the time Samuth songs. Now, 20 years later, I cannot forget this melody, like it was print in my skin.

for sure, I'm proud of what he has done, my parents used to say that Samuth is our national Elvis Presley ...

Did I say Kim Nova wasnt pure Khmer? I didnt say Vichara Dany was pure Khmer either, still she has a classic Cambodian beauty-especially when shes dressed up in Khmer outfits. Im not saying Kong Som Eun isnt Khmer-but he looks the most Khmer of them all.
