To my shock/horror, I seemed to have adapted this story from another person. It was not deliberate, and he's very accommodating. So, getting his duly deserved credit:

'Mixed Signals'
Based on the ERS Story by Christopher Signore

"Winter had reached the Island of Sodor, and the engines were finding life difficult..." Isn't that always the way?

In this wintery tale, James gets uppity about his ability to grip the rails better than Henry, but a relief driver and signal failure put it into sharp perspective...

Bit of fun, and my first time doing proper filming with the snow. Just a bit of winter fun for the start of the week that's happily turned out about the length of a TV series episode. Neat.

I will be using a much bigger board next time. Three express coaches, and James was the size of the board. Nightmare. Expect more branch line-y escapades from now on :P

The scene where James gets his just-deserts? 5 times. I was terrified, I tell you. Terrified. Still haven't gotten all the snow out of his system, though I'm glad it wasn't flour...

Merry Chri- Sorry, sorry. Can't upset the children....

Happy Winter Holiday to you all,
Daniel

  • nice video =)

  • @SacredWolfie Thanks :)

  • Is it okay can I remake this?

  • @LewisDavies2007 I'd prefer it if you didn't, but I'm afraid it's not in my hands. Ask RailRaider1. It's his story that I adapted :)

  • Great job, I was wondering where you found the Faces for then engines in the correct sizes, I have been trying to do the same for sometime, they look great.

  • @thomasj219 Faces are from SI3D models, with lots of cutting down in MS word :)

  • cool

  • @tardisrescue do u have files that u saved?

  • @Captstar2 Thanks. The snow just sort of stuck, and I really couldn't be bothered to clean the engines :P

  • This was a very good episode. Reminded me very much of season 2/season 3 ish quality. I liked it alot. The snow sticking to the engines really made it seem as if it was real and I could feel chills going through me as I watched it.
