These are some of our promos produced for WAMI in 1999. Included are spots for the Miami Heat, Florida Marlins, a special campaign with Robin Leach where we gave away a mansion on Star Island, and the WAMI Movie Palace
a lot of the things this station did were innovative, and they covered the heat and marlins better than the current FSN cartel we have now (FSN Florida and Sun Sports) I wish it still existed as an english language station
Wow I usto hang out and watch the kids show being produced. I learned so much from this station. I wish some one could find/post the stuff DJ Spooky did on Barcode!
I don't think too many people realize how cutting-edge the creative coming out of USAB really was. I really miss those days, cutting endless comp reels for you to strut our stuff...with and without color bars. D'oh. I think the influences of USAB can be seen in every standout commercial and promo on-air today.
I still use the lessons learned there with every spot I make, and I'm proud to have been a part of it.
I did the audio for all those spots. We rocked!!!
