Great Dane agility Jumps 10 times

My great dane Merlin jumps through the hoop 10 times and he's only 4 months old. He first learned to jump through the hoop when he was about 7 weeks. There's some tricks after the jumps and extra footage at the end. Enjoy!

Make sure you only do this 30-59 minutes after he ate becuase it will kill him (flip his stomach) Here are some tips Under 9 months - Pastern height 9 - 12 months - Midway between pastern and elbow height 12 - 18 months - Elbow height 18 - 24 months - Midway between elbow and shoulder height 24 months plus - Shoulder height

Merlin is now two years old and perfectly healthy. I did not jump him very much when he was the age in the video and I was and am COMPLETELY aware of the complications that it could have possibly created.

Thats cool but you shouldnt jump your dog untill its 6 months so it wont hurt his frount legs from when it lands but great job at training!

yes I know, I've been told that countless times. But I didn't do it much, just enough where he learned it and to make this video. If he didn't want to do it, I wouldn't make him.

yes I know!! I taught Merlin how to sit at 6 weeks. He's a wonderful dog!!

I love your dog and I am so happy that this Great Dane is so well loved. One thing I just wanted to say, you said "merles are so unique" I just wanted to correct this, Merle color is not recognized under the AKC GD colors, unfortunately this color is actually a carrier of genetic disorders. So for anybody wanting to get a GD, stay away from this color. White with black spots (Harlequin) is fine
