ジョンからヨーコへの愛をとても感じる一曲です。

そんなことを考えながら弾いてみました。

元気出ますよね＾＾

最初のスローな感じが、とても感情がこもっていていいです。

あと、この曲、左手のベースの部分も、重要な役割してますね。

Starting Overは、リアルタイムで聞いていて、発売された直後は、Jo­hnのあまりに久々の新曲という期待感が大きすぎたのか、ちょっ­と外れた感がありました。

でも、その後に、亡くなったニュースを聞いたときの思い出が重な­って・・・いろいろな思いが交差する曲です。

改めて聞くと、メロディのあちこちにJohnらしい部分が散りば­められています。

Rock'n　Rollerとして10代でスタートして、大成功して、1970­年代の後半休養して、1980年にStarting OverしたJohnのエッセンスがあちこちに。

改めて聴くと、いろんな事を思い出したり気づいたりしますよね。

そういうお役目が出来てとても嬉しいです。

初めはそんなにいい曲に思えなくても、あとからどんどん好きにな­って

くることありますよね。

私は初めて聴いたときから、かなり気に入ってましたけど^^

I remember when this Album came out in 1980, It semed like John and Yoko were finally falling in love again, and then the tragedy, seemed like the world kinda changed at that point and was never the same again after that. Great cover love you're work tou are so talented and so beautiful too !! :)
