Every year the world's snootiest car show selects several featured marques to honor. This brings out the best examples of the cars that have been squirreled away in museums, private collections and corporate collections from around the world. This year Porsche was one of the chosen and people such as comedian Jerry Seinfeld brought out their pride and joys. Seinfeld's car was once owned by Steve McQueen who drove it in the movie, LeMans.

Seinfeld's 1970 Porsche 908/03 Spyder earned second place in the Porsche class.

  • I want that car so badly.

  • Snootiest is right ,

I was there in 84 and all it is is a bunch of over rated classic and race cars that get judged on specks of dirt, or some little thing that dont mattrer.

  • I would like to do some rounds on a dirt bike over the golf course of peble beach and have fun!

  • Man you look at this video and then you see new cars like the One-77, Panamera, R8, SLR Moss, Veyron (from 0:4...) and the you look and the old timers, Ferrari (0:43), Porsche Panamerica (1:19) and mainly McQueen's great 917.. and then you ask yourself a question: Either the Engineers from the 60's and 70's were so advanced from their time, either we didn't make much progress in car designing... Because man, I'll take that Red Ferrari (A TestaRoss 57?) or that 917 before any new Veyron or R8...

  • When Porsche didn't make shite cars...

  • thank you for posting......

  • The Gulf colored 908 and #20 (the SteveMcQueen 917) are both owned by Seinfeld. Additionally, he is one of the few to own a 959 and a 550. He's kind of a Porsche nut.

  • Which porsche is owned by Seinfeld?

  • Who will be the first Yank to stick a Big Block Chevy in it ??!!

  • I think people other than Americans refer to it as a Porsche "Nine-One-Seven", not a "NIne-Seventeen". Am I mistaken?

    BTW I have the red/yellow 917-10 as a Fly 1/32 scale slotcar.
