Amazing Thailand #9: Off-road Quad-bike (ATV) in Chiang Mai

There are many adventure activities to do in Chiang Mai: river rafting, buggy, kart, bungy jump, trekking in the forest, elephant riding, visiting the hill tribes and even zorb ball at the X-Centre. On this video we go on a quad-bike riding, or ATV (all terrain vehicle). The trip takes about 3 hours, being most of it off-road. The quad-bike/ATV tour is a great opportunity to see the nature and landscape, in the hills of the Northern Thailand, so different from our first few days in Bangkok.

Existem muitas atrações e esportes de aventura em Chiang Mai, no norte da Tailândia. Nesse vídeo vamos fazer um passeio numa quadricículo (quad-bike, ou ATV - all terrain vehicle, em inglês). A maior parte do passeio é off-road e é uma ótima oportunidade pra ver a natureza e as paisagens do norte da Tailândia, tão diferente dos nossos primeiros dias em Bangkok.

a 10 yr old can ride them so YES

i bought one of them to ride in the streets if sacramento, i was amazed to find out how cheap they are u was surprised theyre not very popular

A couple of questions..

How much does it cost to ride the ATV's, and also do you need to be a certain age or hold a driving licence to do this :) I'm 18 and can't drive! (also you passed where my dad just built a house which is pretty cool!)

I'm going in 7 weeks, very excited!
