so sad and so true, its all about money. They may as well be selling heroin!! Like heroin, withdrawls are so bad if people want to quit there bodies and mind make it almost imposible to do so!! something the doctors never seem to mention. PAXIL SHOULD BE BANNED like every other dangerous drug!!

When you want off paxil, the safest way is to taper it SLOWLY. Docs say you can taper 5mg/week, but a realistic taper is 10% every 3-6 weeks. This means a taper from 40mg may take 18 months or longer. Sucks hardcore, yes. If you're sensative to withdrawal, it may be the only way. Course, each person is unique, and time of use is a huge factor. Figure at minimum 10 days taper for each month on.

LOST MY MAN TO PAXIL. He liked it better than me. Now he is a walking zombie with a limp we we. He did tell me he had awful nightmares on it. I hope who ever invented this drug rots in hell for taking the love of my life away. He went from empathy to apathy over night.
The video is amazing!!!!!

I have a lot of nightmares on Paxil but somehow the emotional impact of them is blunted... although the subject matter is of a highly disturbing nature they dont really bother me that much.

Paxil dreams are fucked up

Moral of the story, don't take paxil unless you actually have severe anxiety and/or depression. If you are having problems months after quitting , it's called relapse, not withdrawal.. I'm sick of all the whiny people saying "I've been feeling like crap, after I quit turkey now on day 14". Trying taking the drug for 10 years, quitting for 6 months, and then realizing the withdrawal symptoms are gone and what you have is called a relapse.

paxil helped me before but now i get a panic attack once in a while wich is worst than the ones i used to get before i start taking it i have been taking it for 17 years 40 miligrams
-
Im not having any nightmares yet, so I suppose ill have to up the dose.

i want off of it... i take 10 mg every day. if i miss a day... it is hell. i get mad and anxious about everything.i start to feel horrible, and cannot sleep. i think i need to get off of this. i may have a solution. sometimes when i don't take my meds, i smoke some low grade marijuana, because too much thc will increase these thoughts. and after i do the bad side effects subside some. this may help anyone with this same problem.

Brilliant Video! I was put onto Seroxat at 14,resulting in very morbid thoughts, paranoia, nightmares & bad physical side affects. When I took myself of them my mental and physical health actually improved. It took a while to get rid of the side affects even after a few months of being completely clean of the drug, but god was it worth it to be free from them.
I understand everyone's different and there are people out there who believe it has helped them, but this is just my experience anyway.

thanks!
I made this for people who can relate and not feel they are alone.
Yes, everybody responds to ssris differently.
I had to go back on them to have my life back.
It is pretty rare that one feels better when they quit paxil,
unless one didnt take it very long to begin with.
For the most partThe longer you take them, the harder they are to get off.
Your very lucky you didnt have sever w/d.
I wouldnt wish that on my worst enemy.
Thanks for the comment Gypsy085.
