    The first draft of the script had Jeanine's character describing what she had seen during the first chess match (and as a clue to her present strategy with the psychologist, as we find later:) as a "Rope-a-dope" . Jory K. made me aware (at 5am Sat. morn) that I was mixing my metaphors (boxing in a chess context) and that the "Gambit" was a perfectly appropriate substitute. Duh -Much more powerful! - RB

    After sending out a half-done script version out to Cast and Crew with some explanation so everyone could get a sense of where it was going late Fri, Maria Novak -our Prod. Manager- immediately began researching famous classic "quick finishing" chess matches and found one that became the set-up and move sequence for the two games that take place in the film- RB
