David Arnold performs 'The James Bond Theme' on guitar, accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for the John Barry Memorial Concert on 20 June 2011 at the Royal Albert Hall.
@pollytree Thanks for your comment, glad you like the video. It was an amazing concert. Dame Shirley was outstanding, as usual - fantastic for 74!! The orchestra played magnificently all the way through. A particular highlight was 'The Bond Suite' - played with such energy and passion. Also, David Arnold singing a solo guitar version of 'Tick The Days' was very moving - one of the last songs written by John. If you can get BBC Radio 2 it is being broadcast on 1st July!
Thank you for the excellent quality video. :) Was the memorial concert good? I wish I could have been there.
