I took this on one of the coldest days on record in the Wadsworth, Ohio area. It was definitely cold, and quite a difference from the Central California Coast.

1994.. my senior year in Pittsburgh in which we were hit by a blizzard that dropped over 36 inches of snow in less than 12 hours. I remember it well.

HA! I remember it well. Very well.
It was 3 weeks after I had major back surgery and I had to put a new battery in my wife's car. My doctor would've killed me had he known.
"...temperatures in the 40s" sure semed warm after this record cold spell.
Loved the sunset at the end. It looked just as cold as the day had been.
