We are told that geldoff's live aid & band aid raised £40 million for Ethiopia in 1985.
Yet now it is claimed just 5 per cent (2 million) was spent on famine relief, with the rest going on weapons and attempts to overthrow the Ethiopian government.
He should have donated 2 million himself, kept his fowl mouthed Irish gob shut & spared us all the live aid garbage!.
He's done more harm than good, what a self righteous meddling BURK.

Geldof was angered at the journalists that uncovered the $240 million of the aid money went to rebels/arms last year; although, the same happened in 84 - the Live Aid funds, $95 million went to rebels and Geldof should have learned his lesson then. Geldof's benefits fund murderers...so, the miniscule amount of aid that reaches the right people is negated. I don't think Geldof really cares, he just wants to profit.
