This movie is awsome. I just rented it last night. It is very funny and the music is good too. I can't believe this film didn't make it. Alan Arkin is wonderful in it. He is a real funny guy.

I´ve just acquired this movie after looking for it for the past 15 years, being in the UK i was unable to purchase it and i watched for the first time in 15 yrs last night.....it´s the best

does anyone know if the soundtrack to this film is available to buy? or does anyone know if this track is on any compilation cd? i can't seem to find it anywhere. :-)

The reason the movie didn't make it was because the US distributor, Jensen-Farley (formerly Taft Intl and formerly Sunn Classics before that), went bankrupt just as they were trying to open it. I remembered seeing the trailer in a theater (and really looking forward to the movie) as well as seeing small billlboards all over Los Angeles announcing its opening ... and then ... the film NEVER opened.
It's a damned shame. 'cause it's one of Philippe Mora's best films.

i got the dvd from america but it's slightly different and in my view not as good as the version i recorded on vhs from the tv here in the uk.
