a video for what was the only single taken from dave's third 'sell sell sell' album. the video was shot in new york from dusk to dawn on one crazy day off from mixing the album at electric ladyland studios. the video was directed by donal scannell and donal dineen and was shot by john chiapardi. janine nallen helped bring the shoot together and the wonderful rob holden made it happen in the purest sense.

  • Notice the man in the station with a matching sweater? I can't understand the last line about Mary Jane's eyes. Oh well

  • He was such an adorable bundle. Love how he moves. The melody is compelling, stays with me all day.

  • this i play, and david should get writing this kind of stuff again/passion/anger/insight/hunger/ ,the best since is . the one i love. / i wan,t more. not the boring middle of the road material he,s doing now. he,we need clunes back on drums.full of passion. you know i,m heartfelt.

  • David Gray was once a boy too. Can you believe that? :D

  • Great song, fantastic album, interesting sweater....

  • @FollowThatTempo Dislike!! I think he looks feckin gorgeous!... then again, he could wear a big black sack and I 'd think he looked amazing. :D

  • @FollowThatTempo Aww, come on; Have pity for David Gray. He wasn't wealthy enough back then to be able to afford the nice clothes that he wears now.

  • fantastically written story put to music ... only could be told/sung by the fabulous David Gray! Forget sell, sell, sell - love, love, love!!!

  • @TheCorkman1989 Though I do not agree that he surpassed Dylan (I don't think anyone can really reach the magic he had in the 60s and the 70s, not even Dylan himself today), this song is damn good and both albums are pure music gold.

  • @TheCorkman1989 I dont care, but that is single handedly the stupidest statement made in a sea of stupid statements on Youtube.
