How To: Logic Pro 9 Tutorial #8 - Chopping Up Samples With Logic (option #1) and the EXS24 Sampler

Hi everybody today I got a question from youtube user wcurry1 and he requested for me to post a video with regards to Chopping up samples in Logic.... Here is the video....

Also here is a step-by-step guide:

1. Record/import the samples you want to chop.
2. Find out the short key to splitting region by playhead by hitting option + K on the keyboard.
3. By default it is the backslash key that is under the delete and above the enter key.
4. Select the audio file you want to chop.
5. Press play and hit the hot key to cut the samply into different files.
6. Open up the EXS24 sampler.
7. Create a new instrument.
8. Select all you chopped up samples.
9. Drag them into the EXS sample editor.
10. And save instrument.
11. Make some music!!

U can convert the split regions into separate audio files and then drag and drop them from Finder onto the keyboard screen. They're gonna end up separated, each on it's own key :)
