i saw stanley in 1975 at the village gate in nyc.he did a rendition of love hangover.great show,so smooth

Owned the original disc back in the day, from CTI Records (Creed Taylor, Inc.). I never understood why Stanley never became as famous as some of his CTI contemporaries like George Benson and Hubert Laws. He certainly had the "chops." Mr. T is probably my favorite sax man from that era.
