  • Have you ever heard of Born To Lead puppy club, but i belong to the group, and i am getting my puppy in 3 or less months. Good Luck to Ricki!

  • @GuideDogPuppyRaiser1 yeah! I love when people get excited about getting a new puppy. Please let me know who you get :)

  • Thats one large pumpkin, I had a question... you guys must encounter a lot of signs that say "NO dogs/pets allowed", Im sure ricki must be excluded from that, but has ricki ever been turned away even though she is a working dog?

  • @Nextraker That's a great question :) Ricki has never been denied access anywhere yet. We have been denied with past puppies, but we tend to shop and visit the same places where we know we are welcome.

  • WOW! the pumpkin is heavier than my Dad!, any who, just wondering, can guide dogs be trained at any age or must be trained at puppies? and have you raised other breeds of dogs to be guide dogs like collies, shepherds, etc. thanks! :D

  • @brocolims Guide dogs does start the dogs as puppies so they can be ready to graduate and work by around the age of 2. We have only raised labs and 1 golden. I would love to raise other breeds but they are not always available.

  • That's alot of pumpkin pie!

  • @mattmovies101 I am actually working Halloween night so no trick or treating for us, we are having puppy halloween party coming up :)

  • @PuppyInTraining We don't take outside obedience training classes. We meet twice a month with our puppy raising groups and we have group leaders that have more training than the regular puppy raisers. We work on basic obedience along with socialization outings. We are required to go to the meetings and every month we fill out a report on how our puppy is doing.
