Just as with the We Five, I was pleasantly surprised to see a female member of this group. No, it wasn't the high-voiced lead singer but the drummer. Female drummers are a lot rarer than female lead singers in otherwise all-male bands. Other groups with female drummers were the Ramrods, the misnamed Mojo Men, the Vejtables (same drummer as the Mojo Men), and the Carpenters, whose drummer was originally Karen herself.
