ABOUT THE HORSES:
Coco (clips one, two, and three)- Before May of this year (when I began riding him), Coco had done no western and no patterns. The only thing he had done his entire life was Hunter Under Saddle and Pleasure Driving. I helped to teach him how to do western with the help of one of my instructors, Denny Mulford. Coco is still green on his pivots but has great extensions.
Chance (clip four)- Chance is an old, seasoned show horse, but has been only doing walk trot for the past three or so years, so his lope is a little bit rusty. He has nice pivots and takes a lot of drive and voice to push him into extensions.
Jet-Di (clip five)- I have owned Jet-Di for almost nine years. He is an ex-barrel horse, but will perform patterns pretty well. He does not have a pivot, but extends and moves off of your leg well.
Pokey (clip six)- Pokey is very much like Chance in the sense that he has been shown by numerous people over his lifetime. He has done mostly Western Riding and Trail, and does not pivot. He is very lazy and hard to get good extensions out of, but will come down from extensions nicely.
