Rosamunde on accordion / akkordeon

This song comes by many names. A lot of people know it as Rosamunde
or the Beer Barrel Polka
I have 3 accordions at the moment. This accordion is a Hohner Tango III S And while I prefer the other two, this song just begs to be played on a Hohner ;-)

Jep, geboren und aufgewachsen in Deutschland :) Ich spiele schon nach Noten, aber ich finde so richtig schön kann man ein Stück erst spielen wenn man es auswendig gelernt hat (naja, ich zumindest). Dann kann ich mich erst auf den Rhythmus konzentrieren und ein Stück richtig genießen und einfach mal aufhören nachzudenken.

@caveatemp I still believe that accordion will eat me one day, and then I'm part of a black and white monster, climbing up buildings and abducting pretty women ... well, maybe not.

unfortunately, I can't play the guitar at all, it's my husband's, and I wouldn't wanna be the one to break it :)

@Dud3kLubiePlacki I just felt hopelessly silly playing this song :-D and I had the text of it going through my head the whole time - about this guy who just can't manage to tell a girl (Rosamunde) he likes her, but today he is going to talk to her, and he knows exactly what he will say. And he won't accept no for an answer! But he ends up not talking to her after all, at least for all we know, cause at some point the song ends. That's just silly :-P

Das beste Akkordeon ist eh die Morino VM. Ist aber auch sau teuer. Aach das Teil wäre ein Traum!!!

I don't know the first thing about these awesome instruments. I do however know that you play it so well! It looks as though one has to maintain 2 keyboards while working a bellows---blows my little mind! I appreciate how you are keeping a choppy rhythm while at the same time playing the lead melody, and it just sounds wonderful! Thanks for this fabulous post! My best to you and yours!
