  • what other pipes would you think would fit? i want a passenger capability and i need a new pipe for my scout.

  • @duprey0 you can use the same pipe, but bend it more. i'm not aware of any other pipes that fit, so i'm afraid you're on your own.

  • Thanks! Also, how did you bend the pipe? I would need to clear the kickstart, centerstand, and i want to keep use of the passenger footpegs.

  • @zorropup21 held one end in a bench vise, heated the section i needed to bend with an oxy torch and VERY slowly bent it. the way mine is bent it JUST clears the kickstart, but the pillion is definitely blocked on the right side by the pipe. either get a different pipe because you would have to bend this one a whole lot more than i did to make it horizontal and not upswept, or get a girlfriend without only one leg. my pillion is replaced by a large trunk, so for me it doesn't matter.

  • Nice pipe! How well does the bike run with that pipe? Im looking for a new pipe that's less restrictive for my honda c70. Im planning on doing an engine swap pretty soon also, do you think the flange will fit on a lifan 125?

    Thanks.

  • @zorropup21 I installed a high-flow cone intake at the same time and went up two main jet sizes and one idle jet size. the bike runs like a top! it definitely fits a lifan 110cc, I'm not sure about a 125. beware that the pipe is LOUD! i'm running it with a db-Dawg silencer and it's still very loud at WOT.

  • It is a nice pipe, innit?

I had put one on onto my '82 C70 Passport last fall (haven't yet sorted that bike out totally yet.. still cleaning it up) and for a pipe meant for a Honda Monkey or CT70, it fit on pretty well with minimal mods on the Passport - required slight reshaping at the centerstand mount bend - other than that, bolt on and go!

Enjoy your's .. a good pipe for the money (in my case, $125 from a CDN source!)
