Here is a little thing I put together with a Bigfoot sand trailer, a $60 winch from walmart and an aluminum atv ramp. When strapped in te jetski is very secure as I did doughnut in my truck with the jetski in the back and had no issues.

I took into consideration your ideas when I was putting this rig together. However I ride a lot around the beach in gulf shores. Unfortunately its hard to find a place on the beach here that you can drive you truck onto its just an island about 30 miles long. So I use the cart to push my ski across the sand, usually about 200 yards, to the water. Because of the high flotation tires on my cart it pushes like a lightly loaded wheelbarrow, even in loose stuff.

  • Hey snowman, that seems like a pretty good idea. It would save a good bit of time over trying to find an unloading spot. And the risk of a nose or tail roll is almost entirely gone.

I'll suggest though, synthetic winch cable. It will save tour tailgate. On my setup the cable ride on the ramp, so it never gets my paint. I'm going to probably make a small flat roller to guide my cable when it begins to warm back up around here.

  • Like in the description it was very easy. K just used a Bigfoot jetski trailer, a small winch from walmart and an atv ramp. It's worked well for me so far. All in all I have about $300 wrapped up in it. And it's easier than a trailer for longer hauls. A 300 mile trip with a trailer is sometimes nerve wrecking. This takes a lot of that headache out of the equation.

  • That is an awesome creation no doubt! Id love to own one my self but heres an idea for a much easier and cheaper is to take to rails like the rails on a jet ski trailor and make them into a ramp but have rollers on each rail hook ur winch up to the ski hook winch it up use a tiny pulley on the tail gate so the wires not rubbing and winch it into your truck onto a double railed frame idea and throw the roller ramps aside so much less space and would take so much less time to get it into your bed!

  • cool
