When two legends come together to pay tribute to one third, it gives this...

Bet he was hopping mad over this. (only kidding, of course) Seriously, that's too bad. I hope he recovers and can keep doing what he does. They're all getting older, but they all show the newbies how it's done every time they perform.
This clip sounds a million times better than Winter on that "Crossroads 2010" clip. There was a segment of him playing "Red House," and it was embarrassingly bad; good to see him in top form here. And I hope West makes a full recovery.

I never missed a JW show in the NY area in the 70s & 80s also Mountain.

Lets all pray for the great Leslie West. Leslie underwent emergency surgery after being admitted to a hospital in Biloxi, Mississippi, on Saturday when his leg started to swell and his foot went septic. The doctors tried for two days to save it to no avail. The decision to amputate was one that was necessary to save his life. Leslie is expected to recover but faces extensive rehabilitation. We are all prayin' for ya Leslie!

I find it amazing that one of the mightiest, most confident players on the planet (Leslie) never tries to out-do or outshine a fellow artist.
That's unique in this business. I think that's why Leslie's duets just stand out, and why so many love playing with him onstage. He's a rare breed.
