Just because we won't be there doesn't mean it doesn't matter. I'm not in the life of a starving child in a developing country, but does that mean that his life doesn't matter? You're statement is completely self centered, and it gives the appearance that you care for naught but yourself. The future does matter, and even though it might not be in my lifetime, The people there will still have lives that are important, and it's up to us now to build as bright as a future as we can for our children

This is all good, but why with all this technological progress, soo many pple suffer with deseases that have no cure, wars, hunger, poverty, discrimination, oppression? The list is endless.

This all scares me quite bad. We won't be here by the time 2100 rolls around. I read somewhere that we have a 50/50 chance of reaching the 22nd Century. I don't know about you all, but that doesn't sound too good to me. :/
