ZX1 def user test of Kodak ZX1 HD Pocket Video Cam @ 720p

Kodak ZX1 720p HD Pocket Video Camera test. Contrast, Slow-Motion, Color rendering, Backlight, Zoom, Handheld, Panning, Close-up to Medium, Focusing

NB All video (including lightning) shot without use of a tripod with a Kodak ZX1.

Audio track is not the original ZX1 recording! I disabled that when editing.

ZX1 Pro's: protective cover, size, AA batteries, simple, .mov output
ZX1 Con's: bad audio / no external mic, no macro, no motion stabilizer

I am thinking of trading in my ZX1 for the new Zi8 that has many of these features, including macro, mic in, 4 x zoom (?) an optional remote control.

If I were a developer at Kodak, I would also look into the possibility to build in a laser pointer to be able to frame without looking at the LCD screen, especially when you support the camera on the ground

how much memory does the zx1 use when filming hd video? i keep reading reviews that say it can film several hours on a 4-8gb sd card in hd and others that say only minutes. i just ordered one so want to make sure im getting something i can really use a lot
