Hollywood star and teen heartthrob Zac Efron joins Daybreak to talk about his latest star-studded film New Year's Eve.
The film is a romantic comedy which celebrates love, hope, forgiveness, second chances and fresh starts, with intertwining stories told amidst the backdrop and promise of new York City on the most dazzling night of the year.
The all-star cast includes Academy Award winner Halle Berry, Jessica Biel, Jon Bon Jovi, Abigail Breslin, Chris Ludacris Bridges, Robert De Niro, Josh Duhamel, Zac Efron, Hector Elizondo, Katherine Heigl, Ashton Kutcher, Seth Meyers, Lea Michele, Sarah Jessica Parker, Michelle Pfeiffer, Til Schweiger, Hilary Swank and Sofia Vergara.

I wonder, when he's like 40, or something, will people still be referring to him as the High School Musical boy. I love high shcool musical, but for me, it would get annoying.

@brittanylsmoore i think people who watch high school musical, or the kids who are around when high school musical was released will always remember him as the jock from high school musical, i agree it would get annoying but that role was his jumpstart to success, without it, we wouldn't know who zac efron was, anyway, i think the high school musical label will stick with him for quite a long time. that is until he goes and chooses a really different role and does a complete 180 transformation
