@chocolatelizard360 i've been playing around four and a half years and have done 1 3 and 5 on trinity but because i wanted to get to grade 8 before i leave school i stopped learning grade 7 trinity after about a week (it was really boring anyway) and went for rock school grade 8. with 3 years experience you could easily do it too

@theairborne145 I might start doing rockschool grades, Although If I could, I'd probably be able to to the grade 1 exam tomorrow. I've been playing about 3 years. How long did it take you to get to grade 8?

@theairborne145 Yeah, rockschool's more in touch with modern/popular music. Can't be a bad thing like.

@TusharPramod Yes, this recording is far from perfect, but it was the only chance I had to play it with the cameras rolling. I passed the exam with distinction a few months later on though.

@TusharPramod I didn't think that, you were very right. In fact, looking back at this, I am noticing even more mistakes than I remember, lol.
I took the Trinity Guildhall exam in the end. I have got the Rockschool book though, bought it for sight-reading exercises. It is good for the type of drummer it is aimed at, rock/pop styles - whereas I think TrinGuil is aimed at more all-round playing.
