@Salahuddin07 I am on topic, you critisize a scholar for basically nothing but you yourself can basically do even worse? Rasul Allah, sal Allahu alayhi wa salam, forbade looking for the fault of a brother and Imam Ash-Shaafi'ee (rahimahullah) said:

@Salahuddin07 It can be clearly seen that it is not a wedding ring and that it is not gold. As I stated before, it should be sufficient that it is sunnah, but he might have a reason of which we don't know and you should ask him first before you slander him for slander is haram itself. Also you can find on YT a video where Sheikh al-Fawzan explains how to move the finger in Tahashud and he explains it the Hanbali and not the Sunnah way - so you also slander him now also or what?

@UmSumm i would hope it isnt a wedding ring and if it isnt i ask again where has it been narrated of wearing it on that finger? and again that finger belongs to the holy trinity. and i repeat again i brought u evidence of which finger Muhammad (saw) wore it... So why do something different from him?

@UmSumm ive shown you about which finger to wear it on, show me where it discusses about wearing it on the"ring finger" and ill leave it alone. It is haraam on the status of wearing it on the ring finger becuase the christians reference that very finger to their holy trinity.

so inshallah please show me where its been narrated of wearing it on the ring finger.
