@ladychristine1000 I can honestly say that I sympathize with you. I hear sad news coming out of Romania so people would say such things. I hear Prince Charles of England is trying to help out and that he's of Vlad's bloodline too so he feels responsible. The whole world is hurting as a result of what a few greedy bankers did and many countrys suffer for that. It may seem like a good idea at fist but remember the phrase to be careful of what you wish for.

@CrimesonWitcher I understand your point of view, but no matter what anyone sais we, romanians will always see Vlad Tepes as a hero. You say he's evil because you don't know the situation in Romania right now, belive me it's a complete haos. People are stealing, killing and they do that not only in our country. And the Government has nothing to do with this, they would never dare to change anything because our history it's the most important thing for us.

@ciureanuc I know about the legend of the golden cup and I say again that you have to know the reason behind why people steal. If they steal for a good reason then they don't deserve to be impaled. Your hero is one of the most cruel human beings that ever lived and you act like he's a saint after the evil things that he did. If he had to kill someone then fine but he didn't have to make them suffer. If you bring back impaling then the rest of the world will look down on you.

Our president won the election with the line: "I will install some spires in The Victory Square".

When you are tired of thieves you will worship somebody who wipe them out, no matter what.

We wait for a new Tepes in Romania, 90% of the people will vote a true Vlad.

@ciureanuc Begging is not a problem if the people turn a blind eye to the suffering of others and you have to know the reason behind why people steal whether it be fore food or for things they need to sell to put food on the table. Killing people in inhumane ways is NOT the answer. We have moved beyond torturing people to make a point. Vlad was a Christian warrior but he didn't need to be so cruel and I doubt some of the things he did is what God wanted. Sure he was fighting Muslims.

Now, because I like our history and because when I read Romanian history I don't translate anything, :) please believe me: Romanians wrote poems about Vlad, the people's memory tells that Vlad is one of our heores.

I know bad legends about our SAINTS, about Vlad people know that he solved some of the stuff that EUROPE try to re-solve now: stealing, begging are only two of them...
