Name That Exhaust Note, Episode 118: 2012 Chrysler 300C - Car and Driver

On Tuesday, we posted an audio recording of a mystery car's exhaust note. We also threw in the incentive of a Save the Manuals prize pack for the first commenter to identify this week's sound. To hear it again, click play above. A lot of you guessed that the exhaust note came from a Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge SRT8 model. It was in fact a Hemi, but not an SRT8: the exhaust heard here is attached to a 5.7-liter V-8 in a Chrysler 300C. Commenter benjamin r. was the first to pick out the 300C's nice V-8 bellow.
