  • Hi,

Did u do any adjustment to the video settings? If u do mind posting ur video seetings up? Like sharpness, brightness, contrast, saturation etc.

  • @k0g3pAn We mostly just use the "dynamic" setting that is on the machine, you don't have to change anything.

  • Thanks for the reply. An internal mask at the fresnel would square up the projection but that would mean opening up the unit; don't want to do that. It would also mean chopping out a little on the sides; another thing that I would not want to do. Our ceiling is kinda low in the tv room but I've thought about trying to drop it down a little more, or build a swing arm. Wow, $15 for a mount - very good. I built mine from scrap. I did a YouTube video of it as well. Thanks.

  • @drez20001 Here is the ebay item number of the one I bought 300511537050 , Extend Universal LCD Projector Ceiling Mount Bracket, extends to 2 feet.

  • Glad the projector is working well for you. Mine came and I built a ceiling mount for it - it's a great little unit. I'm just wondering though, how did you square up your sides? When I use the keystone knob I can make the picture crystal clear but the sides are trapezoidal. If I square up the sides then the top of the screen is slightly out of focus. Thanks.

  • The closer the projector is to straight on the straighter the sides are. Mine is just slightly off from straight, but you can't tell it because of the screen. My projector hangs down about 2 or 2.5 feet from the ceiling, and it is inverted (hanging from the bottom - because that is the mount I bought - like $15 on ebay). But I do not know of a way to get it perfectly straight unless it hangs directly in the middle of the screen;mine would need a few more inches down to be perfect
